The heat I was set in had both boys and girls in it. But my biggest concern was a tough looking blonde guy who was two lanes down. His hair was combed back in a nice, attractive way. He stood maybe a few inches taller than me.
"Runners, on your marks. Get set..." *BANG*
It was a sprinting event of the top two of sprinters of the competing schools to see who was best, regardless of gender. I loved running in general, so this was no big deal. I had managed to keep right behind the blonde guy, who was in first at the moment. It wasn't all that hard, really. But I wanted to wait until I got to when I got close to the end to give everything I had. I watched as the slightly buff blonde guy fall onto the track at the second twenty; struggling get up. Slowing to a stop, I contemplated what I should do. Go and leave him behind and win the race? Or stay and help him up and finish the race, loosing my position? Which was more important, helping someone in need or getting a medal? It was a no-brainier when I thought of it that way.
I stepped out of my lane, forfeiting my chance of winning the race, and approached the opponent's injured runner. He gazed up at me, almost like he was a wounded animal and was trying to see if I was going to harm him. His eyes were a bright, almost cold, blue; it fit him in a nice way.
"Vhy are you here and vhy did you forfeit the race?" Oh. He's German.
I smiled softly as I answered, "I couldn't let someone be in pain as I took advantage of it. Come here." I moved his right arm to go around my shoulders and helped him stand. I didn't notice until now that it was dead silent. Gently, I started walking him towards the finish line. This had to a sight to see- someone, who seemed like he had the strength of a nation, leaning for support on someone who didn't look nearly as strong or powerful.
As we drew near to our destination, I took his arm off my shoulders and moved to walk behind him, still keeping contact with him to move him forward.
"Vhat are you doing?" he whispered.
"You are crossing that line before I do," I answered with a tone of finality. He just sighed and kept going.
When he crossed the finish line, the crowd erupted into cheers. I'm pretty sure I saw a few people cry with tears of happiness. I finished immediately after him. His coaches came out and took him from me to give him more and better medical attention than I was giving him. To my surprise, the guy, who I made cross the finish line before I did, looked back at me. His bright blue eyes actually held a tone of sadness and… longing? But that was it, the race was done and I could no longer help him. Sighing sadly to myself, I turned to go back to the girls locker room to get ready to leave.

The cool air rushed past me as I ran through the mist and fog in the city park. But instead of taking the paved road, I opted to take a dirt road. There's just something about dirt roads that I love. But what happens at the one meet hasn't left me since it happened. Neither has the regret of not getting his name. I wasn't paying attention to the things around me and the earth started tilting forward. Bracing for impact, I closed my eyes and waited for the inevitable pain that was sure to follow.
…
It never came. Cautiously opening my eyes, the ground was still at its unique angle but I wasn't moving. It was then I noticed that something warm had my waist. Suddenly my world started righting itself by the person bringing me back up into a standing position. Whoever it was let me go. I turned around to come face to face with the same German kid who hurt himself. He let out a quite chuckle before holding out his hand to me.
"Hallo, ich bin Ludwig," he said with a barely noticeable smile on his face.

*A/n: so i love avril lavinges german version of 'Girlfriend'. Also light cussing, but enjoy*
“Luddy, come one it’s about time to start!” You had the food piled up your arm like a waitress. Wurst, dips and chips, assorted little finger foods.
“Ja, ok (Y/n)!” He placed a few beers on the coffee table. “Vhere is Gilbert?”
“He said he’d be here in a few minutes. Where’s your girlfriend?” Ludwig helped you set out the snacks.
“She hates football.” And I hate her, you thought coldly. Actually, everyone hated her, but none of his friends had the heart to tell him.

You're sitting on your couch watching TV when your stomach grumbles. Making a face you mumble, "I'm hungry, but I want something sweet.... I KNOW! Cookies and milk. That sounds absolutely perfect."
Pushing off the couch you walk into the kitchen, start the music on you're phone, and begin collecting ingredients. Dancing around small and somewhat cluttered (but not messy) kitchen as you do so lightly stepping over stuff. As you dance to Stamp on the Ground you bounce over to the counter. It switches to I'm in Heaven and then Kidnap the Sandy Claws as you combine the ingredients singing and bouncing as you s

"Yes, sir!"
"Some dry yeast, three-quarters of a cup of water, half a cup of milk…"
"And one tablespoon of vegetable shortening," (Name) finished, smiling gently as she laid out the ingredients on the kitchen counter.
Popping the recipe book closed, Gilbert stroked his chin, nodding in agreement. "Absolutely right! Now, t

Hi, guys! So with this one I really like how it goes up until the ending and… yeah. I thought that you could fill in the blanks with what happens between you and Germany.
I hope Germany isn't being too OOC. I'm so sorry if he is! I'm also sorry if this sucks! D:
I only own the plot.
The next one for my 100 prompt challenge is "Poor" and I like where it's going. Stay tuned for whatever I upload next!
